The Month of May is Always Sparse…
May 14th, 2008
If you’re wondering where the regular musings of my mind are lately, remember - it’s May again. It was around a year ago this week (or so) that the Sliker family took their impromptu excursion to the Ozarks for a camping trip. Camping. Without electricity. Or running water. Yikes.
Well, we’ve done it again. We did a little getaway this week prior to a ministry trip in Minnesota next week, so we’re out of action for ten days. No camping this time, though. It was fun to camp. Once. This time, it’s hotels and dorm rooms for the Sliker family. Comfy. Cable. Pool. Internet. When it comes to quick vacations, “restful” is the operative word.
Yay.

We are headed down that way next week. But for us it is the 85′ VW (in all it’s glory w/ canoe strapped to the top) finding the most remote place possible.
Have fun whatever you do…
It would only take 1 trip in a 1985 VW camper bus for you to be hooked. I am convinced.

Just in case you’re checking in David:
“The Lord bless you and keep you;
The Lord make His face shine upon you,
And be gracious to you;
The Lord lift up His countenance upon you,
And give you peace.”‘
Have a great trip.

Yeah, I read the long heated thread…. wow. How can such rational people become so irrational about God cominmg to set up His kingdom? I say maranatha- I hope it is in my generation- get this thing over with- Please!
I mean really. Ok so you DONT want Jesus to come back in your life time, might mess up your plans…. Good night!
Anyhow, June’s lookin’ a little sparse too.

Just thought you might like to know we are in Ochlockonee Bay at Happiness House and are going to a wedding tommorow in Sopchoppy.
Happiness House is open again whenever you wanna come for a getaway…I even fixed the plumbing.
